the free calculator

the free chart runs in your browser. The name and date of birth you type into the calculator are used to compute your numbers, and the free chart you see is kept in your browser's own storage, not in an account on our side. One exception, and it is your choice: if you ask for your reading by email from the calculator, the details you entered (name, date of birth, email address) are sent to our server to build that email and are stored with your email subscription so it can be personalized. If you never buy, never join and never ask for an email, your birth details stay with you.

what we store when you buy or join

a purchased reading or a Membership needs a record on our side to deliver it. When you buy a reading or become a member we store: your email address, the birth name, current name and date of birth you provide for the reading, the computed chart, the written readings and member pages we generate for you, and your purchase and subscription records. This data lives in our database, hosted by Supabase.

your payment is processed by stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment was made but never see or store your card details.

the services that help us run

we use a small set of processors, each for one job: Supabase stores the data described above. Anthropic's Claude model composes the written portion of a purchased reading and of Membership content such as your month essay, which means the chart input for that piece (names, date of birth, computed numbers) is sent to Anthropic to generate it. Resend sends our email: purchase confirmations, access links, member mornings, and a short welcome series after you sign up. MailerLite stores our email list, including details you attach to your signup, and its script loads on the site. Stripe handles payment. Vercel hosts the site. We do not sell your data, and none of these providers may use it for their own purposes beyond providing the service.

analytics

the site uses google analytics and vercel analytics to understand usage (page views, device types). We strip access links and identity details out of the page address before analytics records it on page load, and we are tightening the remaining analytics settings the same way. The ios app does not include third-party analytics SDKs.

access links

purchases and Membership are reached through emailed access links rather than passwords. A link is valid for thirty days. Anyone who holds the link can open the pages it unlocks, so treat an access email the way you would treat a signed-in session: do not forward it. You can request a fresh link at any time from the access page.

deletion and your choices

email us at support@lucidnumbers.com from your purchase address and we will delete your stored readings, chart data and profile. Payment records are retained as required for accounting. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe path (use it, or simply reply with the word unsubscribe); deleting your data also removes you from member sends.

children

lucid numbers is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

changes

if this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the site or app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
